How do dual-type Pokemon weaknesses calculate?
Damage multipliers from both types multiply together. If both types are weak to an attack (e.g. Grass and Steel vs Fire), damage is 2 × 2 = 4x. If one resists and one is weak (0.5 × 2), it results in neutral 1x damage.
Which Pokemon type combination has the fewest weaknesses?
Pure Electric type (only weak to Ground) and Normal / Ghost (only weak to Dark) have single weaknesses. Steel / Fairy combinations (like Zacian and Tinkaton) boast 2 immunities and 9 resistances with only 2 weaknesses (Fire, Ground).
Does this calculator cover all 18 Pokemon types?
Yes, it includes Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Ice, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Ghost, Dragon, Steel, Dark, and Fairy.
